What is the show about?
It’s an interactive comedy show about a love of movies… each week Rich Sandling invites two guests to his show to discuss what they love and some of their favourite movie moments.
The show promises to be a gloriously shambolic celebration of film, featuring: film based comedy, audience participation, games, and one of the guests will get to recreate their own personal Perfect Movie.
What is a Perfect Movie?
Glad you asked – it’s the beginning scene of any movie, the middle scene of any movie, and the end scene of any movie… all mashed together to make YOUR own ‘Perfect Movie’.
On some weeks we might need a little help acting out the scenes and will sell the opportunity for a Front Row audience member to take part. When this happens it will be well advertised on our Facebook Page and available in the same place you get your tickets.
How do I get involved?
Easy – if you want to be on the Front Row, tickets are a fiver and are purchased by clicking on the ‘Front Row Tickets’ button.
To everybody else it’s free to watch on Facebook but you can support the show by adding to the ‘Tip Jar’ and donating a kebab or two.
What if I don’t know anything about films?
The only person required to have any movie knowledge is Rich, you just need to bring your enthusiasm and joy to the proceedings. Front Row audience members are not ‘tested’, just invited to share their own personal insights and there are NO wrong answers (although some answers are more right than others).
Take a look at our previous shows to get a taster of what it’s like.
One final note:
This is your good old fashioned Saturday Night at the Movies. We recommend getting yourself some snacks, some drinks, and streaming us through your TV so you can have a proper cinematic experience… there’s even ads/trailers starting at 8:50pm that you can watch, and credits at the end.
(You can stream Facebook videos to your TV via Apple TV, Chromecast, Samsung TV, Amazon Fire TV or Android TV etc. but if you don’t have any of that, you can just hook up your laptop with an hdmi cable)
